Untaymable feat. NJE and Harjot Singh – ‘Hold Back The Night’ music video

Here’s a new video I did the other week for Untaymable, featuring NJE and Harjot Singh. We couldn’t get all the guys together to shoot it on the same night, so Harjot’s verse was done separately, which is why it looks a bit different. Shot about a month and a half apart too.

The parts with Untaymable and NJE were shot around the tunnel opposite Campbelltown train station. It was pretty quiet that night, about a week or more before Christmas. Harjot’s part was shot in early February if I’m not mistaken. I knew he was from the St Ives area, so got him to meet me at the Forestway shops which I figured would be half way between my area and his. The car park there worked quite well, even though the light colours were a bit different to Campbelltown.

The edit for the video went pretty smoothly. It’s a pretty hyped track though, so there may have been a few more edits and cuts than I would normally use.

For the colour grade, I just used an altered preset from the New Blue FX ColorFast plugin. It worked quite well. I need to learn a bit more about that plugin though, or at least do a bit more experimenting with it, as it is quite a decent plugin. The skin tone support is a nice part of it especially.
