Harjot Singh – ‘See This Kid’ music video

Here’s a video I shot for Harjot Singh. This was shot at Dee Why beach one night. Harjot wanted the video to be on a beach at night. I chose Dee Why as it had quite decent enough lighting to illuminate the beach. Although I also took along my LED light panel.

Since the moon was out that night, I wanted to capture the reflections of it in the water at the back. This was a little bit tricky as the LED light panel I was using was quite bright and to capture the moon reflecting on the water I had to set the ISO on my NEX5N to 1600. Of course I used Neat Video to clean up that additional noise from the higher ISO. You can a before and after shot below.

As you can see, I gave the overall video a darker look. Mostly to cover up the noise in those black areas. And lastly below is a screenshot of the completed project in Sony Vegas.
