Yellow / orange / red dust over Sydney

I took this last weekend visiting an old friend up on the Central Coast. This is their local beach.. quite a nice spot.

I saw this shadow in the curtain as I was opening it this morning. Scary2 Upon opening the flap- Ouch, it's a White Tail spider! They can do some serious damage from what I've heard. Scary3 Ok, how about a close up photo? ... Not close enough? Scary4 Alright, here's the camera as close as it's macro mode will allow, 1cm away from the 'dangerous' spider! After this photo I managed to grab it from there on the ....

On / Off – The power switch on my old 17" monitor

Here's a photo I took the other week. Shows how great the macro quality is on these little Ricoh Caplio's. The actual switch is only about 1cm wide.

Queenscliff Bridge, a Picnik edit – From Yesterday's Walk

This is a photo I took yesterday on my walk to Manly around Queenscliff Lagoon. I'd originally tweaked the photo using Picasa, but then checked the properties of a Flickr contact's photo that I liked which it appeared had been edited using something called Picnik. So I did a search and found the site. Picnik enables you to edit photos online using a bunch of colour tool etc. I'd grabbed this photo ....
